Insert your 1 4" ldpe pipe on the drain line into each pushfitting side of this inline flow restrictor. The flow restrictor creates back pressure on the membrane and will allow the reverse osmosis membrane to produce pure water to the pressure tank. Flow restrictors are sized to match the flow with the size of the membrane. Example:
