Stepped domed lid with pine cone finial. The body embossed with floral and foliate decoration. One side with a vacant shaped cartouche. The lid with a band of decoration around the middle. Scrolled fruit wood handle with thumbpiece. Marked to the body for London 1743 by Gabriel Sleath. Also marked to the bottom with the makers mark. The inside of the lid is
