the decision to harvest early and a good selection of the bunches allowed us to make a Gê that is not overripe and remain faithful to its characteristic style

they underwent a selection process on conveyor belts that led to a bladder press for direct pressing

The winemaking and viticultural team led by Werner Engelbrecht follow natural winemaking methods with minimal intervention

The ageing process is done using the traditional system of soleras and criaderas

the hillside location of the vines and its blend of three varieties

allowing the wines and pressings to integrate harmoniously through ageing

Coming from 5 different growers

The wine is deliciously soft

the same way it always has - using the finest corn

The final blend is kept on fine lees until bottling

The grapes are hand-harvested in early October
