Wembley Park Enamel Sign originalRare London Underground enamel sign for Wembley Park Station on the Jubilee & Metropolitan lines. This particular sign is most likely the centre part of a bronze framed roundel that would have been installed on a platform (see last photo which shows a typical installation). Quite a lot of these roundels were scrapped when they were removed during reconstruction and or extension works, so it's good to save at least one. The Wembley Park underground

This was produced to commemorate the first ever World boxing title fight between American John Heenan and England's 'Little Wonder' Tom Sayer which took place on 17th April 1860 in Farnborough
