Tall 'Blue Grasses' mug COWPARSLEYThis collection of bone china mugs has been designed for the discerning tea drinker. If you like to choose your mug and make a special time for a cup of tea then these are the mugs for you. The 'Blue Grasses' mug has been inspired by nature. I wanted to bring some of the freedom and beauty of nature into the home, so I have transferred images from my porcelain lighting and tiles using high fire decals onto the mugs. Liz has created this small porcelain lamp using a lino cut of an owl made by the painter and print maker Helen Murphy

Once the piece was illuminated I could see patterns in the surface of the porcelain that made me think of shooting stars

It has then been glazed using clear glaze

sepia and clear glaze

I have then cut them up to make them even more delicate and pressed them into the surface of this small lamp
