Papoose Web SpecialsA dwarf globose form of Sitka Spruce. The needles are blue and green on a dwarf plant grows into a ball shape. Found on Vancouver Island, in Victoria, Canada and was introduced by Goddard. An interesting specimen plant that grows 4 6 inches per year.

This tender species ( to +15 F) comes from southern Tibet and grows at about 8

The tips of leaves are almost white on top of yellow

The fall color is gold

it is a dependable and long-lived shrub that benefits from protection from hot afternoon sun and drying winter winds

but lay over each other in a horizontal manner

The leaves are resistant to mildew that is present in the fall

Named after one of the seven dwarfs

and stays that way until spring

A nice 'motion' plant that sways in the breeze

this group was created from seed and cuttings sent from Japan

and smother the plant from summer into fall
