Veuve Clicquot Brut Size:37.5clHalf bottle. There are plenty of lovers of the famous Yellow Label who refuse point blank to drink anything else. A stunning non vintage with great body and roundness, it never disappoints. Lingering fruity flavours of apple and pear on the palate create a fresh, harmonious and lively Champagne. Grapes from as many as 60 vineyards make up the Yellow label blend. Usually the proportion of each grape variety is around 55% Pinot Noir, 15% Pinot Meunier

Small batches of grapes are gently crushed and then transferred to five tonne headed down open fermenters

The 2024 vintage in Marlborough was exceptional

On August 16th

Pinot Noir (30%)

This is an intense Sauvignon Blanc with lifted aromatics of tropical fruit that lead into a range of complex flavours

Upon arrival at the winery the fruit was crushed and pressed

Cabernet Sauvignon (25%)

MALOLACTIC FERMENTATION: 23%

At the end of the meal it will find its full expression with a berry soup enhanced with an excellent Modena balsamic vinegar
