Chateau Coufran Vintage 1994 VINTAGE WINES 1973This Haut Medoc estate is located to the north neighbouring Saint Estephe, but in Pauillac. It differers from many other left back estates in that the wine is predominantly Merlot rather than Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyard is maintained in such a way to keep the average age of the vines around 50 years. The 1994 vintage marked the end of a bad run.
