Pair of Pirkka Chairs with Rare Stool by Ilmari Tapiovaara for Laukaan Puu, Finland, 1955 50'sThese "Pirkka"chairs were designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara and manufactured by Laukaan Puu in 1955. The seats are crafted in solid pine and the structure in solid birch (black lacquered pinewood). This range is inspired by Finnish authentically rustic furniture and one of the most recognised in Finland. Both chairs are stamped at the base of the seat.
